Swiss International Scientific School
An interior transformation of the Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai — the Primary and Secondary lobbies and the student lounge reworked through a biophilic approach of timber, planting, and living green walls.
Key interior spaces reworked to bring nature into the daily experience of school.

Interiors reworked around a connection to nature.
The Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai set out to align its interiors with its commitment to wellbeing and sustainability. EDI reworked the school’s key interior spaces through a biophilic approach, turning them into social and learning environments that strengthen the connection between children and the natural world.
Warm timber finishes, neutral tones, living green walls, and integrated planting run through the spaces, bringing natural texture and colour into everyday school life. Accent colours drawn from the school’s identity appear in the furniture and detailing, giving the interiors energy without overwhelming them.
The Primary and Secondary lobbies and the student lounge were reworked as flexible spaces for meeting and study. A range of seating supports informal discussion, collaborative work, quiet independent study, and time spent together between lessons.
