RUH Early Years
An early years environment in Coimbatore drawing on Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia — modular learning zones in soft, natural materials, with themed settings called the Mountain Top, the Watering Hole, and the Cave.
An early years setting built for discovery and imagination.

A nature-inspired setting for confident exploration.
RUH Early Years was envisioned as a child-centred learning environment where every space encourages discovery, imagination, and holistic development. Drawing inspiration from the philosophies of Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia, the campus creates a warm and welcoming setting that supports children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth through thoughtfully designed learning experiences.
EDI developed an educational planning and interior design strategy centred around flexible, play-based environments that respond to the developmental needs of young learners. Natural materials, soft pastel interiors, and modular learning zones create a calm and nurturing atmosphere, while themed spaces such as the Mountain Top, Watering Hole, and Cave provide immersive settings for sensory exploration, storytelling, role play, movement, and collaborative learning.
The design extends beyond the classroom by recognising families as active participants in the learning journey. Parent development workshops, collaborative lounges, and shared community spaces foster meaningful engagement between educators, children, and families, creating a connected learning ecosystem that supports lifelong curiosity, confidence, and wellbeing.
