Nun Academy
A new-build master plan for Nun Academy in Jeddah — bringing the Kunskapsskolan approach to personalised learning to Saudi Arabia across a Primary School, Boys' and Girls' High Schools, and a central Arena.
A connected campus of four buildings, planned around personalised learning.

Separate schools, planned as one connected community.
Nun Academy brings the Kunskapsskolan approach to personalised learning to Jeddah, set within the mixed-use Mayasem Development. EDI developed the master plan for a campus of four buildings: a Primary School, a Boys’ High School, a Girls’ High School, and a central Arena.
Rather than standing as separate institutions, the buildings are organised as one connected community. Landscaped public space, shaded pedestrian routes, and shared gathering areas link the schools while still meeting the operational needs of each stage, so that interaction and informal learning carry across the campus.
The campus settles into the wider Mayasem Development as part of a single community destination, its shared spaces planned to support independent study, collaboration, and personalised learning across every stage.
