National Teacher Training College
A campus renewal for Uganda's National Teacher Training College in Kabale — the rehabilitation of existing facilities combined with new academic buildings and upgraded infrastructure for 1,200 student teachers.
A 68-acre campus renewed for the next generation of teachers.

Teacher education, set on a renewed campus.
The National Teacher Training College in Kabale was developed for Uganda’s Ministry of Education as a campus-wide renewal, combining the rehabilitation of existing facilities with new academic and support buildings for 1,200 student teachers.
EDI’s approach revitalised ageing buildings while adding contemporary teaching facilities. Existing learning spaces were upgraded for daylight, ventilation, and comfort, creating healthy environments for teaching and learning, while new academic buildings expanded the college’s capacity.
The master plan also addressed the essentials that keep a campus running: electricity, water, sanitation, drainage, waste management, and sustainable utilities. Together these established a resilient framework that supports daily academic life and long-term operation.
