Liwa University
An interior redesign for Liwa University in Abu Dhabi — open, glazed spaces in warm neutrals, lifted by the university's navy-and-yellow brand accents, shaping a contemporary campus for students, faculty, and visitors.
An interior shaped by identity and openness.

An interior that carries the university's identity.
Liwa University set out to give its Abu Dhabi campus a contemporary interior that carries the institution’s identity into everyday spaces. EDI developed an interior design language drawn from the university’s visual brand, using its accent colours to energise the spaces, while warm neutral tones and refined finishes keep the environment calm, comfortable, and focused.
Transparency runs through the design. Glazed partitions and visually connected spaces open the campus up, making it easy to see across the building and encouraging openness and collaboration. Flexible student areas, clear service points, and carefully planned circulation give students, faculty, and visitors a campus that reads easily and works smoothly.
The result is an interior that does two things at once — reinforcing institutional identity while staying genuinely functional and durable. Completed in 2023, the redesign supports both formal academic work and the informal collaboration that fills the spaces between classes.
