Heritage Xperiential School
A renovation and expansion of Heritage Xperiential School in Gurugram — a warm, timber-lined K-5 campus where shaded walkways, mature trees, and daylit learning spaces knit architecture and landscape together.
A campus where buildings and gardens work together.

A campus where nature and learning are one.
Heritage Xperiential School set out to strengthen the link between architecture, landscape, and its experiential way of teaching. EDI transformed the existing Gurugram campus through a mix of sensitive renovation and new construction, expanding its capacity while keeping the welcoming, low-key character that already set it apart from the city around it.
Openness and daylight drive the architecture: a contemporary façade, generous glazing, and strong sightlines give every learning space natural light and views to the greenery outside, while improving the building’s environmental performance. Wide shaded walkways connect the buildings, turning the spaces between them into places to move, meet, and learn informally through the day.
Outdoors does as much teaching as indoors. Mature trees and landscaped grounds become extensions of the learning spaces — quiet spots for reflection, room for collaboration, and settings for the hands-on, experiential activities at the heart of the school. Natural ventilation and carefully placed planting tie the campus together. Completed in 2019, the result is a calm, nature-filled environment built around the way the school teaches.
