The Project

Three schools on one connected campus.

Greenberry World School set out to balance academics, co-curricular life, and student wellbeing on one campus. On a 6.5-acre site in Lucknow, EDI developed a master plan that gives the Primary, Middle, and Secondary schools each their own building and identity, while keeping strong physical and visual links between them — so a large school still feels age-appropriate and easy for a young child to read.

Independent arrival courts and circulation routes keep movement across the campus safe and clear, and generous outdoor spaces give students room for exploration, recreation, and informal learning through the day. At the centre sits the Global Learning Centre, a shared home for sports, performing arts, cultural activities, and collaborative work that brings the three schools together.

Flexible learning spaces and adaptable planning let the campus keep pace with changing needs, while sustainability shaped the design throughout — the campus was planned to earn LEED certification through the Indian Green Building Council, with natural daylight and environmentally responsive planning making for healthy, comfortable interiors. Completed in 2015, Greenberry brings 1,200 students together across a campus built around how they grow.
