Bloom World Academy
A pre-university centre for Bloom World Academy in Dubai — flexible, reconfigurable learning spaces wrapped in daylight, planting, and natural materials, designed to feel welcoming to every learner.
A learning centre built to change shape.

A flexible, nature-filled learning centre.
Bloom World Academy’s pre-university centre was designed to be as adaptable as the learning it holds. Rather than fixed classrooms, EDI created spaces that can be reconfigured quickly — for direct teaching one hour, collaborative work the next, independent study after that — so the centre keeps pace with how students and teachers actually use it.
Informal gathering areas and shared learning spaces run through the centre, giving students room to meet, work together, and build a sense of community. Biophilic design ties it together: abundant daylight, integrated planting, living green walls, and natural materials make the interiors feel calm and healthy, and keep a connection to nature close at hand.
Inclusion shaped the details as much as the planning. Accessible, culturally responsive spaces are meant to help every learner feel they belong, supporting wellbeing alongside academic work. Completed in 2024, the centre reflects the academy’s aim of preparing students who are confident, considerate, and at home in a diverse world.
