American School of Doha
A long-range master plan that reorganizes ASD’s existing Pre-K–12 campus into a more connected, future-focused learning ecosystem — linking academic, athletic, and community spaces through flexible environments and stronger circulation.
A Pre-K–12 campus, reimagined for connection.

Reorganizing a campus into a connected ecosystem.
Guided by a vision of transforming campus connectivity and student engagement, the American School of Doha master plan reimagines the existing campus into a more integrated and future-focused learning environment. Through facility capacity analysis and long-range planning studies, the project explored how existing campus resources could be reorganized to better support evolving educational practices, interdisciplinary learning, and stronger relationships between academic, athletic, and community spaces.
The planning strategy emphasized flexible learning environments, learning commons, makerspaces, collaborative student-centered spaces, and enhanced circulation systems that strengthen interaction across all grade levels. By improving utilization, expanding opportunities for inquiry-based learning, and reinforcing connections between indoor and outdoor environments, the campus evolves into a more cohesive educational ecosystem that supports both formal and informal learning experiences while preparing ASD for long-term growth and future implementation phases.
