Danielle McCarthy, LEED AP

Senior Interior Designer

Danielle is a Michigan based Senior Interior Designer with Education Design International.  She has over ten years’ experience as an interior designer, with the majority of her practice focused in K-12 and higher education markets.  Her passion for design directly aligns with the impact that is created with those that experience the environments.  Spaces should inspire and support continuous learners and future leaders to encourage their own passions.

Prior to joining Education Design International, Danielle was an integral team member at Fielding Nair International, developing innovative 21st century learning environments in the US and throughout the world.  She developed projects from concept, to schematic and design, to the final physical spaces.  Danielle worked with the Architectural team to lead client discovery meetings to ascertain school needs and helped develop the master plans that encompassed all future projects.

Danielle holds both a Bachelor of Architecture, as well as, a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI.  She also holds a certification as a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) .
